As of May 2006, HealthUnity has raised over $1.4M in financing from JLA Ventures and other angel investors.
The company was founded in 2004, and Dave became an angel investor and advisor in fall 2004.

SimplyHired.com is a search engine indexing over 5 million jobs online. Simply Hired provides employment-related search, tools, and content to help people find their next great job. Simply Hired was named one of the Top 50 Coolest Websites for 2005 by Time Magazine, and selected Best of the Web by Business Week in both 2005 and 2006. As of May 2006, Simply Hired has raised over $17M from investors including Foundation Capital and News Corp.
Dave is an angel investor and advisor for Simply Hired, and was an employee from January 2005 thru May 2006. Dave helped run the marketing and product teams and launched the Simply Hired website in early 2005.

oDesk is an online contract employment marketplace & management tools framework that enables buyers of services to hire, manage, and pay technology service providers from around the world. As of September 2006, oDesk has raised over $14M in capital from Benchmark Capital, Globespan Capital, and Sigma Partners.
Dave was a marketing consultant to oDesk from July to November 2006. During this period oDesk was featured on TechCrunch, VentureBeat, GigaOm, and was a LaunchPad company at the 2006 Web 2.0 conference.

GigaOM.com is an online news and weblog published by Giga Omni Media Inc, a San Franciso-based media company. GigaOm delivers technology news, analysis and opinions on topics ranging from broadband to online games and Web 2.0 to a monthly global audience of 500,000 consumers and professionals interested in the world of hi-tech. GigaOm raised venture capital funding from True Ventures in May of 2006.
Dave worked with GigaOm during spring and summer of 2006, to help launch the new GigaOm website and job board.

Xoom.com provides online remittance services for individuals using PayPal's robust and market leading payment platform. Xoom received initial financing in fall of 2003 by Peter Thiel, former founder & CEO of PayPal, and later institutional financing by Sequoia Capital and NEA in 2004/2005.
Dave helped with initial business plan review for Xoom (then MollyGuard) in summer of 2001, and was an occasional informal advisor prior to Xoom's initial round of financing.

Global Workforce (Vamoose.com)

Global Workforce developed enterprise software for immigration workflow automation, and provided software and online solutions for corporations and immigration attorneys to manage and process immigration transactions.
GWF shipped its flagship Aria product in January of 2001 to several corporate customers and legal firms. In 2002, Global Workforce licensed the Aria solution to Walther Solutions for ongoing support and development.
Dave worked with GWF in 2001 to develop business strategy and assist with introductions to angel and venture investors.

WiseConnect [acquired by BayLogics]

WiseConnect is a developer of B2B extranet solutions for retail workplaces, and delivered solutions for Levi's and Compaq among others.
WiseConnect closed its first round of insitutional venture funding in June 2000, and a second round in spring of 2001. WiseConnect was acquired by BayLogics in fall of 2001.
Dave worked with the founders to review the business plan, market positioning, and overall company strategy. Dave also assisted WiseConnect with evaluaton of enterprise software and introductions to angel and venture investors.

Commercia delivers integrated eCommerce and supply chain management solutions for buyers, suppliers, and b2b marketplaces. Commercia was acquired by Microsoft in December of 2000, and the company founders joined the Microsoft Commerce Server product group.
Dave worked with the founders in 2000 to identify and develop marketing strategy and partnerships, and assisted with introductions to venture investors.

MyWebtivity provides eCommerce and eMarketing services to supplier / manufacturer businesses to reach online customers. MyWebtivity also provides custom web and wireless applications. MyWebtivity closed seed round financing in Q1/Q2 of 2000. The company shut down in spring of 2001.
Dave worked with the founders to outline initial products and services, and develop product marketing strategy.

Imparto Software provides online eMarketing and web content management solutions. Imparto received 2nd round funding in Q399 and was acquired by Primus Software in Q499.
Dave worked with Imparto to establish a strategic relationship with Microsoft and their Commerce Server & BizTalk Server product groups. On behalf of Imparto/Primus, he interviewed & hired the lead Product Marketing Manager.
