Life360 produces apps and services for family safety and security. From keeping track of kids to protecting your identity and getting back your lost items, Life360 helps manage & track your family information and reduce your anxiety.

Dave became an advisor to the company in January of 2009.





Twilio
Twilio provides a cloud-based API for web development of voice communication apps and telephony infrastructure. Twilio's simple programming interface enables web developers to develop voice apps quickly and easily, and pay-as-you-go pricing allows customers to add capacity on-demand as needed.

Dave became an advisor to the company in October 2008, and an investor in the compay in November 2009.





SlideShare
SlideShare is the world's largest community for sharing presentations on the web.

Dave became an advisor to SlideShare in fall of 2007, and an angel investor in January 2008.

KISSmetrics helps people define simple, actionable metrics to help understand what happens on their websites and with their customers. They keep it simple (sam).

TeachStreet is a startup that helps people find other people to help them learn new things.

Dave became an advisor to TeachStreet in spring 2007, and an angel investor in fall 2007. He currently serves on the board as well.





RichRelevance
RichRelevance is a startup with patent-pending technology that personalizes online shopping with targeted & relevant product recommendations.

Dave became an investor in RichRelevance in fall 2007.





Mashery
Mashery develops tools for API providers and users, providing a range of services that make it easier to develop, deploy and use web services. Mashery raised an initial angel round of capital in June of 2006 from investors Josh Kopelman & Jeff Clavier among others.

Dave became a Mashery advisor & investor in June 2006.





Simply Hired
SimplyHired.com is a search engine indexing over 5 million jobs online. Simply Hired provides employment-related search, tools, and content to help people find their next great job. Simply Hired was named one of the Top 50 Coolest Websites for 2005 by Time Magazine, and selected Best of the Web by Business Week in both 2005 and 2006. As of May 2006, Simply Hired has raised over $17M from investors including Foundation Capital and News Corp.

Dave is an angel investor and advisor for Simply Hired, and was an employee from January 2005 thru May 2006. Dave helped run the marketing and product teams and launched the Simply Hired website in early 2005.

Mint Software [acquired by Intuit]
Mint is the easiest way to manage your money online. Best of all, it's free.

Dave became an advisor and marketing consultant to Mint in November 2006. Dave also became an angel investor in Mint in June 2007. Mint was acquired by Intuit in November 2009 for $170M.





Bix [acquired by Yahoo]
Bix.com provides an online contest platform for anyone to produce, enter, view, and vote on talent-based competitions. Bix was acquired by Yahoo in late 2006.

Dave served as an advisor to Bix in 2006, prior to its acquisition by Yahoo.





oDesk
oDesk is an online contract employment marketplace & management tools framework that enables buyers of services to hire, manage, and pay technology service providers from around the world. As of September 2006, oDesk has raised over $14M in capital from Benchmark Capital, Globespan Capital, and Sigma Partners.

Dave was a marketing consultant to oDesk from July to November 2006. During this period oDesk was featured on TechCrunch, VentureBeat, GigaOm, and was a LaunchPad company at the 2006 Web 2.0 conference.





GigaOM (Giga Omni Media)
GigaOM.com is an online news and weblog published by Giga Omni Media Inc, a San Franciso-based media company. GigaOm delivers technology news, analysis and opinions on topics ranging from broadband to online games and Web 2.0 to a monthly global audience of 500,000 consumers and professionals interested in the world of hi-tech. GigaOm raised venture capital funding from True Ventures in May of 2006.

Dave worked with GigaOm during spring and summer of 2006, to help launch the new GigaOm website and job board.





HealthUnity
HealthUnity is a technology solution and infrastructure provider for the exchange of healthcare administrative and clinical data. HealthUnity builds Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) and related services for hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers. As of May 2006, HealthUnity has raised over $1.4M in financing from JLA Ventures and other angel investors.

The company was founded in 2004, and Dave became an angel investor and advisor in fall 2004.





Commercia [acquired by Microsoft]
Commercia delivers integrated eCommerce and supply chain management solutions for buyers, suppliers, and b2b marketplaces. Commercia was acquired by Microsoft in December of 2000, and the company founders joined the Microsoft Commerce Server product group.

Dave worked with the founders in 2000 to identify and develop marketing strategy and partnerships, and assisted with introductions to venture investors.
